On May 29, 2025, Safetyware and Institut Teknikal Jepun Malaysia (JMTI) worked together to organize “The Heart of Safety: AED Launch & CPR Training” at Dewan Kuliah Utama, JMTI Bukit Minyak. The event started at 9:30 AM and ended at 12:30 PM, with over 550 participants both on-site and online joining us to learn how to save lives in emergencies. The event was officially opened by YB Daniel Gooi Zi Sen, ADUN for Padang Lalang, reflecting strong support for public health and emergency preparedness.

 

🔍 Event Highlights

1. AED Launch Ceremony
We gave a brand-new ZOLL AED (Automated External Defibrillator) to JMTI. This device can help save someone’s life during a sudden heart attack by giving a safe electric shock.


2. CPR Training
Our trainers taught everyone how to:

  • Do chest compressions and rescue breathing

  • Use an AED in real-life situations

  • Stay calm and act fast during an emergency


3. Support from Leaders
YB Daniel Gooi talked about the importance of CPR and AED knowledge. He thanked everyone for helping to make schools and workplaces safer.
