The Working at Height (WAH) Safety Assessment evaluates the safety measures and equipment used for working at heights. This assessment ensures compliance with the DOSH Guidelines for the Prevention of Falls at Workplaces and reduces the risk of falls, one of the leading causes of workplace injuries.
Recommended Monitoring Period:
Annually, for safety audits, and daily or pre-use inspections for fall protection equipment.
Required Documents:
- Working at Height Safety Assessment Report: Annual evaluation of safety measures and procedures for working at heights.
- Fall Protection Equipment Inspection Logs: Daily/weekly logs for personal protective equipment (PPE) such as harnesses and lanyards.
- Training Records: Documentation of employees trained in fall protection and rescue procedures.
- Rescue Plan: Up-to-date emergency rescue plans specific to working at height.
