Did You Know?

Age 2-5:

Children of ages 2-5 are less likely to be able to wear masks properly. However, let them wear a mask when necessary such as when the child is sick or physically close to someone who is ill with adult supervision. For best, keep a safe physical distance at all times.

Age 6-11:

Children of this age group tend to understand the basics of wearing a mask and should wear a mask when they are at school, childcare or while participating in group activities that might be exposed to microbes transmission with adult supervision.

Age 12 and Above:

The use of a mask in this age group is encouraged with guidance from adults and an explanation on the reason for wearing a mask in countering sickness should be given.
